Laura Bender Koropey has been a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania for over 40 years. After seven years practicing tax accounting and serving as a Tax Manager with the firm of Ernst & Young in Philadelphia, she became a tax manager with a Main Line CPA firm handling high net worth individuals. Since 2000, Laura has maintained her own CPA practice. In affiliating with Main Line Law Associates, Laura supports the practice with individual and fiduciary tax and accounting services.
Laura’s experience includes the preparation of state and federal individual and fiduciary income tax returns, gift tax returns, and the Pennsylvania inheritance tax return and U.S. federal estate tax return.
Laura also prepares accountings for estates and trusts, both for informal use with beneficiaries and for submission for formal Court approval.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Accounting from the Wharton School of Commerce and Finance of the University of Pennsylvania.
Laura has served as treasurer of the Governing Board of the Philadelphia Orchestra Volunteers Committee and serves on the Board of Team Up Philly, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls living in under-served Philadelphia neighborhoods to achieve their full potential through participation in programs that combine athletics, character development, fitness & nutrition education, leadership training and academic support.
